The CYPP want to enable all children and young people to develop psychologically, socially, intellectually and spiritually by ensuring that services are able to recognise and support their mental health and well-being.

On-line Counselling

A free, on-line counselling and referral service, is now available to all 11-25 year olds across Powys. Aiming to work with young people who need support before any issues they face become overwhelming the service, commissioned by the CYPP, provides:

  • one-to-one counselling with a qualified counsellor
  • moderated message boards and blog facility
  • A secure message facility between the young person and the counsellor
  • A range of information including an online magazine covering a range of issues facing young people
